About the Experience
We welcome you to the Wine Museum Costa Lazaridi in Kapandriti. Located in North Attica, which is half an hour from the center of Athens, this museum honors the vine and all its deriving products. The Wine Museum displays the symbiotic relationship between people and wine that exists today as it has from ancient times. The array of exhibits, dating as far back as the 17th Century AD, combined with specially designed audiovisual support materials, offer visitors the opportunity to interactively discover the history of vine cultivation as well as wine distillation and balsamic vinegar production. Our Wine Museum covers a total area of 1,500 m2, with a two-level exhibition space. Book a 60- minute guided tour to explore Greece’ s wine wonders and upon completion enjoy a wine-tasting experience in the specially designed tasting room with representative Domaine labels, grape spirits and balsamic vinegar at various aging stages.

Wines you will taste
Château Julia Assyrtiko
PGI Drama
Assyrtiko 100%
Alcohol 14% Vol.
The versatile aegean Assyrtiko was planted for the first time in Drama by Costa lazaridi and since then it became an integral part of the regions wine identity.
Amethystos Rosé
PGI Drama
Cabernet Sauvignon 80%,
Merlot 20%
Alcohol 13% Vol.
The Oenogist and winewriter Argyris Tsakiris dubs the Amethystos as “the parent of the rich rosé wine category” and not unjustly. Since 1992, when it was first introduced, it created many imitators and countless friends.
Oenotria Land Cabernet, Agiorgitiko (BIO)
PGI Attica
Cabernet Sauvignon 90%, Agiorgitiko 10%
Alcohol 14.5% Vol.
Agiorgitiko softens the intensity of the Cabernet Sauvignon but leaves intact its basic characteristics as they are expressed through the influence of the Attica terroir.
Greek distil tsipouro
With or without Anise
Domaine Costa Lazaridi was the first producer of the region who believed in quality bottled tsipouro. Already since 1992, in an era when bulk and amateur distillation ruled, the company launched Idoniko, with and without anise, setting in essence the basis for the qualitative upgrade of this special product.
Gold Aceto Botanico Costa Lazaridi
Aged Balsamic Vinegar
Using the technique of the Aceto Balsamico Traditionale of Modena we create the special balsamic vinegar. Just one drop can transform even the simplest dish.
