About the Experience
We have designed a food and wine-pairing menu aiming at your utter delight.
Original Greek and Cretan flavours paint a clear image of the gastronomic orientation to a new era.
The dishes are paired with 5 exceptional wines from the Greek vinery, which perfectly outline the contemporary Greek wine scene.
Our tasting menu showcases the importance of harmoniously pairing food and wine and with the guidance of our expert Sommelier we offer a complete culinary experience.
This culinary journey consists of:
- Welcome (Amuse bouche): Feta cheese wrapped in “kataifi” (shredded phyllo dough) baked in our wood oven. Drizzled with a rose geranium and watermelon sauce and poppy seeds.
Wine: “Antinoe”, a white, dry wine of Moschofilero variety, from Panagopoulos Estate – PDO Mantinia (75ml) - Salad: Seasonal par-boiled greens lightly sauteed with olive oil, spring onions and cherry tomatoes, finished with fresh lemon juice and served with Cretan ‘Galomizithra’ cheese.
Wine: “Plano” made of Malagouzia variety, from Techni Oenou Estate – PGI Macedonia (75ml) - Starter: Fresh mushroom stuffed with apaki and Cretan Gruyère cheese, in a crispy crust, served on homemade olive oil and truffle mayonnaise.
Wine: “Naoussa”, a red, dry wine made of Xinomavro variety, from Estate Chrisochoou – PDO Naoussa (75ml) - Main Course: Stuffed pasta shells loaded with salmon, prawn, calamari and cream cheese, in a prawn and finely-ground shells bisque sauce.
Wine: “Geometria”, a white, dry wine made of the Assirtiko variety, from Lafazanis winery – PGI Peloponnisos (75ml) - Dessert: ”Portokalopita” (Greek orange pie), a fluffy and aromatic orange pie with yoghurt namelaka, refreshing mandarin gel and vanilla ice cream.
Wine: “Samos Grand Cru”, a dessert wine, from UWC of Samos island, made of Muscat di Samos variety – PDO Samos (40ml)
NOTES
- For the best experience, please make your reservation at least one day in advance of the event.
- Please arrange for your transportation and don’t drive after the event as your blood alcohol levels will be higher than legal limit.
- Your table will be available for 2 hours from the confirmed reservation time.
- We have a 15 minute grace period, in case of a non-show within 15 minutes after your initial reservation time your table will be released and your reservation will not be valid.
